MEET THE TEAM

John Kyle

Executive Director

 

John has more than three decades of experience in the global technology industry. He has launched and run several companies and divisions. He is currently the principal of Kyle Venture Advisors LLC, a consulting firm working with a range of startups and nonprofits. He has been a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America since 1993. John holds a BS degree from the University of Kentucky, an MBA from Heriot Watt University and a Postgraduate Diploma in leadership practice from the University of Derby. He is nearing the completion of a PhD in leadership studies at the University of Derby. John and his wife, Shirley, are empty nesters and live in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Michelle Gray

Assistant Director

 

Michelle was a member of the 2011-2012 Capital Fellows class. After finishing the program, she worked for Deloitte, a Big Four consulting firm in D.C. During that time, she remained actively involved in the program as a steering committee member. Now as the Capital Fellows Assistant Director, Michelle leads the day-to-day operations of the program and mentors the women fellows. Michelle has a BS degree from Virginia Tech. Michelle, her husband, Hunter (also a former Capital Fellow), and their son Caleb live in Falls Church, Virginia.

Bill Clark

Professor, Identity and Relationships

 

Bill is a licensed psychologist with a practice in Reston, Virginia. He is also the Director and Co-Founder of the Lay Counselor Institute. He serves as an adjunct professor at Cairn University and Reformed Theological Seminary. Bill was trained by Dr. Larry Crabb and Dr. Dan Allender at Grace Seminary, where he received an MA in Biblical Counseling. He also has an MA in Theology from Fuller Seminary and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland. Bill and his wife, Debbie, live in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Bill Fullilove

Professor, Biblical Theology

 

Bill is Assistant Pastor of Community and Discipleship at McLean Presbyterian Church. He is also Associate Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary, New York City. Previously, Bill was Assistant Professor of Old Testament and Academic Dean at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He was also the founding director of the Capital Fellows Program. Bill has a PhD in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literature from The Catholic University of America, an MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary and a BA from Princeton University. Bill, his wife, Jill, and their two children live in Arlington, Virginia.

James Forsyth

Instructor, Life and Leadership

 

James is the Senior Pastor of McLean Presbyterian Church. He co-leads the Life and Leadership course for the Capital Fellows Program. James holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts (Divinity) from the University of Edinburgh. James, his wife, Rosie, and their four children live in Fairfax County, Virginia.

David Stephenson

Instructor, Life and Leadership

 

David is the Assistant Pastor of Missions and Church Planting at McLean Presbyterian Church. Previously, he was the Senior Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He has also been a church planting fellow at Briarwood Presbyterian Church and student pastor at Cornerstone Church. David holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and a BS from the University of Tennessee. David, his wife, Kelly, and their three sons live in Fairfax County, Virginia.
